Nadine Faye Adams, 82, a longtime area resident passed away at Higher Call Nursing Center on Sunday, April 13, 2014. Nadine was born on April 6, 1932 in Fairland, Oklahoma to William "Bill" and Ruby (Conner) Noegel. Mrs. Adams graduated from Wyandotte High School with the class of 1950. She worked as a cook at local restaurants and then as a supervisor at Glennberry in Commerce. She also worked at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center in the Food Service Department where she took pride in pleasing people with her cooking skills and fixing special items for them. Rice custard pudding was one she was known for. She also loved her flowers on her porch. Nadine loved her church family where she was a member at First Assembly of God in Miami. Mrs. Adams was preceded in passing by her parents Bill and Ruby, a sister Ruby Ella Noegel and one brother John Henry Noegel.

Survivors include her daughter Darlene Miller and her husband Tony of Miami, a sister Doretha Noegel of Miami, her grandchildren Scott Allen Miller of Miami and Dustin Michael Miller and his wife Tana of Joplin, along with three great grandchildren Myla Miller, Ty Miller and Dylan Miller.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.

Services will be 2:00 PM at the First Assembly of God Church in Miami on Wednesday, April 16, 2014; interment will follow at the Wyandotte Cemetery under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
