Doretha was born to her loving parents Bill and Ruby (Conner) Noegel on January 1, 1937 in Fairland, Oklahoma near the Ogeechee area.
She was a graduate of the Wyandotte High School, with the Class of 1955. Doretha was a caretaker then went to work at Glenberry’s in Commerce at the sewing factory for thirty-five years, then a went to work at Tote a Long for about ten years before retiring at age seventy. She filled in as a minister when needed at several local Assembly of God Churches. She felt part of her ministry was to visit the sick and needy and she did that very sincerely for many years.
She is preceded in passing by her parents Bill and Ruby Noegel, a brother Johnny Noegel and two sisters Ruby Ella Noegel and Nadine Adams.
Survivors include her niece Darlene Miller and her husband Tony of Miami, great nephew Scott Miller and his children Myla Miller and Ty Miller of Miami and Dusty Miller and his wife Tana of Joplin and their son Dylan Miller. Along with her cousins and many friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
There will be a Celebration of Life 2:00 PM at First Assembly of God in Miami with Reverend Danny Burelson, Reverend Eugene Davis officiating. Interment will follow at the Wyandotte Cemetery under the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami.
