Lonnie Carson was born in Wirt (aka) "Ragtown," OK on April 3, 1925 and was the son of Tom and Willie Ruth (Jones) Carson.
Shortly after the death of his Mother which occurred on May 29, 1929 while they lived at Healdton, the family moved to Countyline, OK (so named because it lies on the "countyline" between Stephens and Carter Cos.) and then to Oklahoma City in 1931.

He was married 2nd to Betty L. Bowman on July 24, 1970 at Las Vegas, NV. They lived at Chaunte, KS and then in Oklahoma where Betty died. Lonnie then married Luella in 1998.
Later in life, Lonnie suffered with a number of health issues and was living in Tucson, AZ with his daughter when he died of an apparent heart attack. His body was brought to Oklahoma where a graveside service was held on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011 at the Schwartz Cemetery.
