Ione M. Miller, age 81, of Marshfield, died Saturday July 16, 2016 at Ministry St. Joseph’s Hospital, Palliative Care Unit, Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday July 22, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 604 S. Chestnut Avenue, Marshfield. Rev. Chris Schwanz will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday July 21, 2016 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, 1010 E. Veterans Parkway, Marshfield and again from 10:00 am until the time of the service Friday at the church.
She was born October 17, 1934 in Spencer, the daughter of the late Edwin and Dellia (Krause) Schwantes. On July 12, 1950 she married Herbert C. Adamski at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. He preceded her in death. She later married Donald Miller and later divorced.
Ione was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, raising her children and watching her grandchildren grow. We will miss her beautiful and infectious laugh. She had a love for all the family times, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her dog; Harley. Ione worked at Weinbrenner in her younger years, owned Derby Bar until the late 1970’s, Weyerhaeuser until her department shut down and bartended at Nutz Deep until she was unable.
Survivors include her children; Karen Phillips, Sally (Larry) Warren, Chuck (Kathy) Adamski, Randy (Dixie) Adamski, Todd (Dawn) Miller and Tammy (Mike Kmiec) Livingston, sister; Pat (Ron) Regele, grandchildren; Matt Phillips, Chris (Sara) Warren and their children; Amelia and Tessa, Heidi (Kevin) Fischer and their children; Brayden and Lexi, Stephanie (Alania) Warren and their child; Jensen, Charles (Nancy) Adamski and their child; Charlotte, Sheena (Mike) Johnas and their children; Grace, Liam, Madelyn and Lincoln, Justin Adamski, Jason (Amy) Adamski and their children; Reilly and Cameron, Brandon Miller, Alex Miller and Ashley (Marc Smazal) Humphrey, Nicholas Humphrey, Jayden and Brooklyn Kmiec and many nieces and nephews.
