Graveside services for Mr. James Warner Barnhill, Sr.,84 of Centerville,who died on Tuesday, June 30,2009 at his home,were held on Wednesday, July 1 at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Centerville. A native of Centerville, Mr.Barnhill was the husband of Mary Lou Johnston Barnhill and the son of the late George and Ruth Dorton Barnhill. He was a farmer on the Odie Smith farm.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his son, James Warner Barnhill, Jr. of Centerville: four sisters, Mary Barnhill of Centerville,Georgia Harper and Fay Hall, both of Nashville, and Sue Hicks of Chicago, Ill., and two grandchildren.
The service was conducted by Bro.Bill McDonald. McDonald Funeral Home of Centerville was in charge of arrangements.
