Services for Mr. Douglas Barnhill, 73, of Nunnelly, are at 2p.m. Friday, Oct.26, 2001 (today), in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Brother John Lankford officiating, Burial follows in Redden Cemetery.
A native of Hickman County, born to the late George Franklin Barnhill and Ruth Dorton, Mr. Barnhill died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001,at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson. A bricklayer, he was a member of the Piney River Church of Christ.
Mr. Barnhill is survived by his wife, Ruby Nash Barnhill, of Nunnley; two sons, Anthony D.(Samantha) Barnhill, of Dickson, and Michael D.Barnhill, of Dickson; a daughter, Janice D.Barnhill,of Pinewood; four sisters, Mary Barnhill, of Centerville, Georgia Harper, of Hermitage, Faye Hill, Old Hickory, and Sue Hicks, of Chicago,Ill.; and four grandchildren, Rachael, Ashley, Misty, and Tabitha.
