Ruth Eleanor Pfefferle Adams, 91, formerly of Bruce, died on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at the Rusk County Nursing Home.
Ruth was born Dec. 4, 1919, in Bruce to William and Edna Brainerd Sweet. A lifelong Bruce resident, she was a homemaker, mother and
inspector at the Garment Factory in Bruce.
Ruth is survived by her children Rosemary (Al) Reiherzer of Elkhorn, Jim (Marlene) Pfefferle of Bear Creek, Doc (Carolyn) Pfefferle of Birnamwood, Gary (Esther) Pfefferle of Ladysmith, Sharon (Buck) Zehner of Ladysmith, Scott (Val) Pfefferle of New London, and Kathy
(David) Boss of Ladysmith; and many grandchildren and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Edna; her first husband Ray Pfefferle; her second husband Lewis Adams; her son Ray Pfefferle; three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 30, at the Nash-Jackan Funeral Home in Bruce with Deacon Doug Sorenson officiating. Burial
was in the Bruce Cemetery.
