He was a graduate of Hatfield High School‚ Class of 1953. He was a farmer on the Bishop Farm Homestead throughout his lifetime. He was also formerly a maintenance man for more than 35 years for the former American Olean Tile Company in Lansdale. Richard enjoyed watching sports on TV‚ going to farm sales‚ and going to the Pennsylvania State Farm Show in Harrisburg.
