GREENVILLE Funeral services for Sallie Brown, 91, of Greenville will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Pilgrim Home MB Church, Greenville. She died May 4, 2002, at her home. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Greenville, under the direction of Watson-Edwards & Evans Funeral Home, Greenville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Brown; one sister, Henrietta Jackson; and one brother, Emmett Williams.

Survivors include eight nieces, including one niece whom she raised, Doyle (Eddie) Madison, and Rosie Lloyd, Linda (Robert) Hannah, Shelia Lloyd, Margaret Lloyd, Mary Frances Edwards and Virginia Peoples, all of Greenville, Fannie (Jimmy Morris) Henderson of Chicago; nine nephews, Clarence (Ollie) Wilder, Vincent Sultan and Henry (Rose) Edwards, all of Greenville, James (Ruby) Edwards, Alex (Mary) Edwards and Milton Edwards, all of Gary, Ind., Lowell (Janie) Edwards of Chesapeake, Va., Willie (Denise) Lloyd of Kankakee, Ill., and Clifton Lloyd of Baltimore; two special great-nephews, William Royal and Carvell Madison, both of Atlanta, Ga.; three special great-nieces, Christa of Starkville, Chanda of Ruston, La., and Chara of Greenville; one uncle, Columbus (Mary) Hines; and a host of cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday from 1 to 5 p.m., with family hour from 5 to 6 p.m., at Watson-Edwards & Evans Funeral Home chapel, Greenville.
