died Monday at Candler Hospital after a
short illness.
He was born in Effingham County and
was a member of Goshen United Methodist
Church. He was a warehouse foreman
at Estes Express Lines. He was a member
of American Legion Post No. 209.
Surviving are his wife, Janette H. Altman
of Rincon; one daughter, Wanda Davis
of Beechmont, Ky.; two sons, Wayne
Altman of Rincon and Neal Altman of
Guyton; one brother, Clifton Altman of
Midway; three step-grandchildren; two
step-great-grandchildren; a number of
nieces and nephews; and a number of
great-nieces and great-nephews.
