Allen Beachum, 9, and Mary A. Beachum, 7, are listed on the 1850 census mortality schedule. They died in June of "sore throat," probably diptheria. I am uncertain if these children belonged to Hugh Beachum and his wife Zillah O'Neal, or to Isaiah Beachum and his wife Phereba O'Neal. (Hugh & Isaiah were brothers, and Zillah & Phereba were sisters). But I am putting them here with Hugh & Zillie until I learn more. If they belonged to Isaiah & Pherba, they'd probably be buried at the O'Neal graveyard. (Isaiah & Phereba are buried at the new site of the Hopewell Methodist Church, and the graveyard there wasn't started til the 1880s.)
