Main ST, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Milltown Cemetery, Milltown Church RD, in Adair Co, KY. Bro. Dan Perkins will be officiating. Visitation is requested 5pm-8pmCT, Friday, May 13, 2011, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the funeral service.

Tavia Lorene Blakeman was the daughter of the late Herbert Blakeman and Lena Pearl Bagby Blakeman. She was born on Thursday, December 26, 1934 in Adair Co., KY, and departed this life on Thursday, May 12, 2011 in Greensburg, Green Co., KY She was 76 years, 4 months and 16 days of age.
She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Greensburg Separate Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Survivors include the following: A sister, Irene Bishop of Greensburg, KY
A brother: William Blakeman of Dawson Springs, KY
A special niece and nephew: Ernestine Milby and James Blakeman of Greensburg, KY
Ms. Blakeman was also preceded in death by four sisters: Pauline Calhoun, Magdalene Powell, Lena Blakeman and Mary Pearl Coffey.
The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home 206 S. Main ST, Greensburg, KY in charge of arrangements.
