Obituary - Mrs. Maude Bolyard. Morgantown Post. Morgantown, WV. Fri., June 12, 1970.
Excerpt -- Funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Maude Bolyard, 70, of Rowlesburg, who was burned to death in a bedroom fire shortly after 11 p.m. Thursday. Mrs. Bolyard was born Oct. 13, 1899 at Etam, a daughter of Charles and Melvina Loughrie Felton. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Christ United Methodist Church. Surviving are a son, Charles Adams Felton of Morgantown; four grandchildren, Starlyn, Carolyn, Vicki and Charles, all of Morgantown; three brothers, Rodney Felton, Daniel Felton and John W. Felton, all of Rowlesburg; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Peters of Grafton and Mrs. Gertrude Knotts of Washington, Pa. Services will be held at the Walter D. Burke Funeral Home in Rowlesburg with the Rev. William Trowbridge officiating. Burial will follow in the Red Rock Cemetery. (Note: son's name should read Charles Adams Bolyard.)
