Services for Ira Amerson, 81, who passed away Monday at the home of his daughter, will be held Sunday at 1pm at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. J.A. Brandyburg officiating.
Burial will be in Washington Cemetery. Taft Harris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
His survivors include four daughters, Mrs. M.L. Johnson, Mrs. M.E. Franklin, Mrs. A.M. Blanks of Dickerson, Mrs. E. Fielder of Houston; 28 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; four brothers; four sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
