He graduated from Belvidere High School. After graduation he attended the University of Illinois. Norris proudly served in the United States Army. He was employed by Mutual of America, where he worked until his retirement. Norris spent his retirement years living in Jupiter, FL where he was a member of the Christ Fellowship Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister-in-law, Nancy and a nephew, Gregory.
