Nokomis Free Press Gazette March 20, 1903 On March 12th, at the residence of Wm. Yeakle, 4 miles north of Irving, Elroy Skinner, age 41 years, 10 months, 4 days.
The deceased was a son of J.N. Skinner, recently of Hillsboro, and was born and raised in Greenwood township, north of town. The remains were brought there Thursday night and taken to the residence of his brother, C.R. Skinner, one mile east of town, and from there Friday, to Center Grove cemetery, in Greenwood township, for burial.
Note, it should read his brother C.K. Skinner.
