"Berlin Center - Elias Beckman died Monday morning after a painful illness with cancer of the stomach, aged 64 years. Deceased was a tailor by trade and with the exception of a short time spent in Canfield conducted a merchant tailoring establishment here for 35 years. He was a good citizen and had many friends. He was a member of the local K of P lodge. Surviving him are his wife and the following children, Mrs. M. J. Brown, Mrs. W. J. Bailey of Pittsburgh, Miss Nellie Beckman, Arthur and Ray Beckman. Funeral services were held today with burial in the Berlin cemetery."
