Cyril M. Skvarka, 79, died Thursday, Jan. 30.
A resident of the Akron area, Mr. Skvarka had retired from Firestone's Synthetic Division after 35 years. He was a member of St. Hilary's Catholic Church and had served in the Navy during World War II.
His survivors include his wife, Stella, daughter, Bettyann S. Gorman of Cleveland, and grandchildren, Christina and Ben Stefanski.
