Services were held for Mrs. Mary Skvarka on June 16 at 9:30 a.m. from the Hahn Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. from Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling, W. Va.
Mrs. Skvarka, 90 years, of 400 Fifth St., NE, Barberton, lived in the United States 70 years, the past 23 years in Barberton.
She was born March 24, 1885 in Slovakia and died June 13, 1975 in Barberton Citizens Hospital after a brief illness.
A housewife, Mrs. Skvarka was a member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church, Third Order of St. Francis, Rosary Society, St. Anne's Society and the Pennsylvania Slovak Catholic Union.
She is survived by one son, Cyril of Barberton; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Kluka of Barberton; three grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
