Janet Lee Sheets-Westman
March 17, 1940 ~ Sept. 13, 2012
Janet Lee Sheets-Westman, 72, of Farmington, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, having bravely dealt with lung cancer. The memory of her beauty, kindness and love of life cannot be dimmed by any disease. She was born March 17, 1940, in Ward, W.V., to Bud and Emma Wheeler.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Marvin Sheets Sr.; son, Marvin Sheets Jr. and her second husband, David Westman.
Janet is survived by her son, Don Sheets Sr. and wife, Chandra; grandchildren, Niki, Lindsey and Caren Sheets, Janie Sheets, Cathy Martinez and husband, Jeremy, Don Sheets Jr. and wife, Carmen, Eugene Sheets, Daniel Sheets and Seth Sheets and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was a good friend to many and loved by all. She was a very positive influence in everyone's lives and will never be forgotten.
Thank you to everyone in the 80's group and all of the WGA. Each one of them meant so much to her.
Cremation has taken place and services are private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the San Juan Cancer Society .
