Edna Mae Seber-Brown (SugarBowl), 86, a beloved long-time resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma died on Friday, August 31, 2012 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Sugarbowl was born on September 2nd, 1925 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. She attended school at Hilton High School in Sapulpa, Shalocko, and Jenks. She was a lifelong member of the Duck Creek Ceremonial Grounds in Hectorville, Oklahoma. She was a very kind and loving woman, who always wore a smile and had a kind word to say to everyone she came in contact with.
Edna Mae Brown is survived by her common-law husband, Siblings; Her children; 19 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents: Jimmy Seber and Ada Littlehead; her late husband, Roy Brown; Siblings: Ed Seber, Leaster Mclntosh, and Ester Littlebear; Children: Vincent Brown and Ricky Brown; Grandchildren: Pamela Brown, William Scraper, and Jennifer Squire.
Wake services for SugerBowl will be held at Little Cussetah Baptist Church, 7876 West Hilton Rd, Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be at Bixby Cemetery near East 151st Street South and Sheridan Road in Bixby, Oklahoma immediately following morning services at Little Cussetah on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Following graveside service all are welcome to join the family for dinner at Little Cussetah Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Smith Funeral Home in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
