Roy Robert Brown or as many knew as "Pingo" of Sapulpa, was 65 years old when he left his life on Monday, January 7, 2013 at O.S.U. Medical Center, Tulsa.

Roy was born on July 3, 1947 in Claremore. He grew up around the Sapulpa area. He was a construction worker most of his life. Roy loved working. He enjoyed going to the casino, shooting pool and eating popcorn. He also liked to party and have fun but most of all he loved all of his grandchildren. He always tried to keep a smile on his face.



He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Brown; mother, Edna Mae Seber Brown both of Sapulpa; brothers, Vincent Brown and Ricky Brown of Sapulpa; nephew, William Roy Scraper of Sapulpa; god-son, Dennis Dewayne Wilson also of Sapulpa.

Wake service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Little Cussetah Baptist Church, 7678 W. Milton Rd., Sapulpa. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Little Cussetah Baptist Church followed by Interment at the Watashe Family Cemetery, Kellyville. Officiating will be the Reverends Jim Littlehead and Ray Samuels. Bearers will be Mike Scraper, Ice Scraper, James McIntosh, Wilbur Squire, Samson Squire, Odis Menie, Butch Lasarg and Joe Davis.

Honorary bearers will be James Bales, Jerry Squire, Mike Camino and Stan Davis.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Smith Funeral Home, Sapulpa.
