Grief over the death of her husband, Dr. Herbert Silverwood, assistant city health officer, and a stroke of apoplexy caused the death of Mrs. Sarah L. Silverwood February 8, about 80 days after Dr. Silverwood died. Mrs. Silverwood was born in Rome, N.Y., March 12, 1868, and was married to Dr. Silverwood in 1884. A brother, Clarence Gardner of Springfield, S. D., and five nephews and nieces in New England, N.E., survive. Funeral services were held from the chapel of the East Side Funeral directors, under the direction of Rev. J. G. Hatton and Corinthian chapter, Eastern Star. Interment was in Riverview cemetery.
