Mrs.Coy was born Sept. 20 1884 in Maries Co., Missouri. She was married to John H. Wells on Dec. 25, 1906 in Missouri where she made her home
until moving to Kincaid, Ks. in 1920.
Survivors include her husband, Edward Coy, to whom she was married Jan. 31, 1944; two daughters Mrs. Nita Bell Joy of Sedan. Ks., and Mrs. Mary Lou Wallace of Ottumwa, Iowa, two sons, William F. Wells of Olathe, Ks. and Thomas F. Wells of Arkansas City, Ks., one sister, Mrs. Leona Combs of Bixby, Ok.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Willis of Melrose, Mrs. Naomi Morris, of Chetopa, Mrs. Hazel Caldwell of Edna,
Mrs. Rosalie Cormeny of Oswego; two step-sons, William Coy and Carl Coy both of Columbus; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Three children preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Jorden funeral home. Burial will be in the Oswego cemetery.
