Mrs. Mary Amanda Wise, 68, of 1112 N. Lincoln Ave., died at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 1958, at her residence.

She was born April 3, 1890 in Munderfordville, Ky., the daughter of Archie and Mary Wheat.

She was a former resident of Williamsville until moving to Springfield nine years ago.

Mrs. Wise was ill the last four years.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Church.

Surviving are her husband, William; five sons, Harold of California; Austin of Iowa; Alfred, Tampa, Fla.; Edward, Springfield; William Jr., Williamsville; daughter, Mrs. Cal Shrum, Springfield; brother, Benjamin Wheat; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Devore, Hopkinsville, Ky.; Mrs. Elizabeth Devore, Munderfordville, Ky.; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services were at St. Joseph's Church.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
