Mr. William Wise, 88, a retired farmer of the Williamsville area, died at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1970, at Memorial Hospital following an illness of two months.
He was born at Elizabethtown, Ky., the son of Austin and Sara Howard Wise.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Church.
His wife, Mary, died in December of 1958.
Surviving are three sons, Alfred of Tampa, Fla.; Edward of Springfield and William G. of Sherman; one daughter, Mrs. Cal Shrum of Tampa, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five brothers, Edward, Pete, and Lon of Lafayette, Ky.; John and Joseph, both of Elizabethtown, Ky.; and two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Goodin and Mrs. Mandy Hinton, both of Lafayette, Ky.
Services were at St. Joseph's Church.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
