CDR. Ghormley Jr, age 88, died of cancer at his home in Bethesda, MD. CDR. Ghormley was a 1948 graduate of the US Naval Academy and later earned his MBA at George Washington University. He served in the Korean War.
After retiring from the Navy in 1969, CDR. Ghormley became a stockbroker at A.G. Edwards, until retiring in 1988.
Imterment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
