SERVICES HELD WED. FOR JAMES KRAMER
James Kramer, 77, who has been in ill health for the past year, passed away at Mercy Hospital, Anamosa, Sunday evening.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Campbell Funeral Home at Olin.Obituary next week.

SERVICES FOR JAMES KRAMER ON WED.
James Monroe Kramer, the son of Joshua and Sarah Kramer, was born in Crawford County, Kansas, on August 20, 1871, and passed away after a lingering illness, at Mercy Hospital in Anamosa on July 24, 1949, at the age of 77 years, 11 months and 4 days. While he was still a small child | the family moved to Jones County, Iowa and he had his home in this vicinity since that time. For many years he farmed in this neighborhood, moving to Olin about 20 years ago.
About 51 years ago he was married to Cora Underwood. Six children were born to this union. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, William A. Kramer and George Kramer, and two daughters, Florence and Marjorie.
He is survived by three daughters, Bessie Michels, Paola, Fla.; Violet Lent, Shellsburg, Ia.; and Elsie Parker, Waterloo, Ia., and one son, Irvin Kramer, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and one brother, John Kramer, Olin. Iowa. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one niece.
Services were held at the Campbell Funeral Home in Olin on Wednesday, July 27, at 2 o'clock with Rev. Lloyd Dutro, in charge. Burial was in the Olin cemetery. Mrs. Leon Stivers sang, "Someday We'll Make It Plain" and "Abide With Me," accompanied by Mrs. Louis Rohwedder. Casket bearers were Howard
Hora, Joe Pieper, Wm. Cruise, Wm. Reese, Frank Miles and Walter Laetare.
