HUNTER DIED IN WOODS FROM HEART ATTACK
Ward Cauvel, 50, of Cherrytree, Stricken While on Way to Get Deer.
BROTHER WAS WITH HIM
Ward Cauvel, aged 51 years, well known farmer residing near Cherrytree, was stricken with a heart attack at about 5:30 o'clock Saturday morning while walking in the woods near Marienville, Forest county, to hunt for deer.
The body was brought to Charles Courtney funeral home and prepared for interment, later taken to the home near Cherrytree. Mr. Cauvel is survived by his widow and one son, Carl Cauvel.
Mr. Cauvel was born on January 17, 1882, and had always resided in the vicinity of Cherrytree, where he was well known. He had suffered from heart trouble for several years and it is believed the fatigue and excitement brought on the fatal attack.
Besides the widow and son, he leaves two brothers, Raymond and Leal Cauvel of Cherrytree and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Pritchard of Diamond and Mrs. Charles Bell of Cherrytree.
Funeral services will be conducted from the family home Tuesday afernoon at 2:30 o'clock, with Rev. E.W. Chitester of Rouseville M.E. church, officiating, and interment in the Cherrytree cemetery.
