HELTON, ROBERTA "SHORT" - age 76, of Maryville, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2001, at U. T. Hospital from injuries received in a car accident one week ago. A member of Springview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Sherman and Lillie Philips Orr; sister, Leona Houston; brothers, Olen and Glenn Orr. Survivors include husband, Carl "Pinky" Helton; daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Jeff Burris and son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Darlene Helton; grandchildren, Kendra, Brooke and Kayla Burris, Trae and Chase Helton, all of Maryville; sisters, Minnie Tulloch and Bobbie Clark; brothers, Tommy and Hoyle Orr, all of Maryville, and Mack Orr of Garden City, Michigan. Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2001, in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Tim Hale and Rev. Guy Milam officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2001, at Grandview Cemetery for interment service.
