THIRD YOUTH DIES
AFTER AUTO CRASH
AT TRESTLE BRACE
William Crawford, Driver, Succumbs; Rites for Three Planned.
Fatally injured when his two companions wee killed early Sunday in a collision with a concrete pier at the Tennessee Central railroad viaduct on West End avenue, William Crawford, 19 337 Chesterfield avenue, driver of the automobile, died at 4:15 o'clock yesterday morning at St.Thomas hospital.
He died of shock and internal injuries.
Wiley K Wells, Jr., 19 114 Thirty-third avenue south, and Charles Seabolt, 16 3531 Central avenue died almost instantly.
Crawford is survived by his parents, J.A. and Orvillena Omohundro Crawford, and a brother, Dr. John O. Crawford.
Funeral services for Crawford will be held at the residence at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon in charge of Elder E. H. Ijams. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Morrison Jr., Jack Spence, Mark Wiener, Newnan Duffee, John Harper, H. B. Moore, M. W.Frank and Jerome Small. Honorary pallbearers will be General Richard M. Atkinson, George Price, Jr., W. O. Baker, W. W. Rutland, Ernest Appleby, R. E. Barnett, John Cates, Dr. C. C. Young, W. B. Omohundro, Dr. George Stewart, Dr. W. A. Bryan, Milton Frank, George Appleby, Arthur Beneke, Jr., William Beneke and Roy Manning.
