Catherine married Alfred C. DeLong on Mar 27, 1879 in Lyons, Berks Co., PA.

Mrs. Catherine DeLong, widow of Alfred DeLong, and daughter of the late George and Hettie, nee Baer, died on Thursday at her home in Kutztown, aged 65 years, 6 months and 28 days.

Five daughters and a son, as well as her husband, preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harold Buck at home; Mrs. Solon Sicher, Topton; two sons, James, of near Kutztown, and Luther, of Topton. Ten grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Jonathan Adams and Mrs. Uriah Rabenold, Allentown; William, Allentown, and Albert, Shillington.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9.30 a.m., at her late home, 255 East Main street, Topton. Further services in Lyons church and interment in Bowers cemetery, Rev. L. F. Foltz officiating.
