Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Ga. located on GA. Hwy. 85, North of Waverly Hall, GA., with Rev. Tommy HART officiating, assisted by Rev. Rob McDANIEL. // Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at Talbotton Funeral Home, Talbotton, GA. // Mr. STRINGFELLOW was born August 1, 1923 in Cusseta, GA., the son of Brooks STRINGFELLOW and Sarah GALLOPS STRINGFELLOW. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, was retired as a Textile Overhauler and was a member of Box Springs United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Rufus Carson STRINGFELLOW, a grandson, Michael Curtis LUCAS, and a great-grandson, Keith SMITH. // Survivors include his wife Juanita NAIL STRINGFELLOW of Talbotton; four daughters, Jane SMITH (Charles), and Rebecca WOLFE, of Columbus, GA, Janet FOWLER (Scott) of Manchester, GA, and Charlene BAKER (Jimmy) of Lake Harden, GA; a son, Michael Terry STRINGFELLOW (Rockie) of Columbus, GA; eighteen grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. // Talbotton Funeral Home, Talbotton, GA. is in charge of arrangements.
