SERVICES FOR 94 YEAR OLD DAVID CUMMINGS

Services for 94 year old David E. Cummings were held on Saturday, May 26th at 10:30 a.m. in the Herman Baptist Church. Mr. Cummings died on May 23rd in the Blair Memorial Community Hospital.

Rev. Barbara Schenkel officiated at the services with Campbell Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was at the Herman Cemetery.

Mr. Cummings was born on May 5, 1885 at Houston, Indiana. He was a policeman by occupation. He was married to the late Ruhemia West. He most recently was a resident of Crowell Home in Blair.

Mr. Cummings is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Ethel) Grey of Herman, eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. One sister also survives, Mrs. Susan Doremas of Seattle, Washington.

Pallbearers were: Joe Fitch, George Green, Delbert Green, Roy Hansen, Jim West, and Raymond Korshoj. Honorary pallbearers were: Gene Husk, Vic Enger, Floyd Sheets, Elza King, Malvern West and Lloyd Staples.
