Services for Cariotta Barry, age 96 of Blair, who died at Crowell Home on February 11, 1992 will be held 10 a.m. Friday, February 14 at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church with burial in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Blair. Rosary will be said 7 p.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home.
Cariotta Yvonne Cashman was born on April 2, 1895 at Kennard, Nebraska to Henry and Eliza Cashman. She graduated from Kennard High School, Fremont Normal School and from Dana College.
On April 7, 1920 she married Paul Barry at Blair, Nebraska. He preceded her in death in December of 1946.
She lived in the Kennard, Ft. Calhoun and Blair her entire life. In 1983 she moved to Crowell Home, where she resided at the time of the death.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Ann Barry, Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Barry, Duluth, Georgia; Michelle Barry, Dallas, Texas; Thomas Barry, Boca Raton, Florida and a great- grandson, Austin Barry, Duluth, Georgia.
