Ms. Thelma Lee Pack Whelan, age 71, Brandenburg, KY, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at her residence. Ms. Whelan was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, of the Order of the Eastern Star, J.R. Dink Chapter #347, a Kentucky Colonel and was retired from Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Sylvia Thomas Pack, and a brother, Earl Pack. Ms. Whelan is survived by two sons, Reece (Missy) Wardrip, Lee (Melissa) Wardrip, both of Flaherty, KY, three grandchildren, Jayne, Ethan and Whitley, a brother, Bill (Janice) Pack, Brandenburg, KY and a sister, Georgia Rose Reichers, Freemont, CA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, from Bethel United Methodist Church, with Rev. Dan Paddack, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Hager Funeral Home from 1-9 PM on Friday and at Bethel United Methodist Church from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
