Francis Riddock Fearn, 60, of Shoemaker Lane, died Sunday in the Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Montrose, Forfarshire, Scotland 19 January 1916, son of Richard Campbell FEARN and Isabella Young ROBERTSON. He had lived in the Hampden County area most his life and in Agawam the last eight years.
Francis arrived USA on board the "SS Samaria", Port of Boston, Massachusetts, age 7 years, on 6th July 1923 along with his mother Isabella Robertson Fearn, brother Alexander Robertson Fearn, and half-brother George Forbes Fearn. He took the Oath of Allegiance on the 2nd December 1942 in Superior Court, Springfield and became a US citizen. Never married, no children.
