George, the 2nd child of two children, was born 15th December 1906, son of Richard Campbell FEARN and Elizabeth Mearns WEBSTER in Montrose, Forfarshire (now Angus), Scotland. His mother died when he was age two and his father, Richard Campbell Fearn, remarried in Scotland 1912 to Isabella Young ROBERTSON. Two more boys, Alexander and Francis were born. George immigrated to the US with his step-mom Isabella and brothers Alex and Francis Fearn. He arrived Port of Boston, Massachusetts, 6th July 1923, on board the "SS Samaria" joining his father who had already arrived earlier in 1922. On the 21st October 1908, he married Florence Gladys PATTISON, daughter of William Pattison and Salina Marie-Angelique Menard. The couple eloped to Brattleboro, Vermont and resided in the Agawam-West Springfield, Ma. area. George took the Oath of Allegiance and became a US citizen on the 21st September 1931,Springfield, Massachusetts.
