Milton C. Hickman, 50
Cotton Farmer, Dies
Milton C. (Pete) Hickman, 50, a Tulare area cotton farmer for the past 21 years, died yesterday at his home at route 4 box 176, Tulare.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Hamilton Peers Funeral service chapel with the Rev. William Jackson, officiating. Burial will be at Tulare Cemetery.
Survivors include Hickman's widow, Leona Hickman, Tulare, a son, Joe A. Hickman, Tulare; a daughter, Mrs. Ray Taylor, Long Beach; two sisters, Mrs. Maudie Burch [Murch], Tulare, and Mrs. Myrtle Collier, Holdenville, Okla.; three brothers, Willie Bevens [should be: sister, Willie Nivens], Tulare; A. N. Hickman, Tulare, and Frank Hickman, Bald Knob, Ark, and two grandchildren.
Hickman was a member of the Tulare Eagles lodge.
