Jessie Glazier Glasscock, age 87, a longtime resident of Stephens, Arkansas died Thursday, December 11, 2003 at Ouachita Memorial Hospital in Camden, Arkansas. She was born August 22, 1916 in Monterey, Louisiana. Mrs. Glasscock was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Stephens. She was preceded in death by: her husband, four brothers, one sister and two grandsons.
Survivors include: one daughter, Martha Hunter & husband Wilson of Stephens, AR; two sons, Fred D. Glasscock, Jr. & wife Martha of Taylor, AR and Glenn Glasscock & wife Esther of Camden; one brother, George Ferrell & wife Pearl of Brookhaven, MS; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at the First Baptist Church of Stephens with Rev. Jim Pinson officiating assisted by Rev. Fred Hunter and burial in Stephens Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home, Stamps, AR.
