Mr. David W. Titus, 73, of Pleasant View Nursing Home, Mount Airy, died Tuesday, March 19 at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Born May 9, 1917, in Poolesville, he was a son of the late John F. and Annie Frye Titus.

Surviving are six children, Omendia Oness of California, Rena Flanary of Germantown, Sherry Offutt and Gail Sheppard, both of West Virginia, Ronnie Sheppard and David Sheppard, both of Mount Airy; three sisters, Elsie Ward of Silver Spring, Anna Brooks and Cindy Butler, both of Poolesville; 12 grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren.

Friends may call from 24 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Hilton Funeral Home, 22111 Beallsville Road, Barnesville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
