Son of John and Christian (Uren) Glasson, born in the hamlet of Polpeor and christiened 8 September 1771. Married his cousin Ann Glasson 29 December 1798 at Ludgvan. Settled at Chylason in Towednack, where he died. He was buried at Lelant 21 May 1851. His wife survived him and is buried at Towednack. Father of William, Mary, Elizabeth, John and Josiah.
