Professional Hockey Player. Douglas who was 5'10" and 158lbs played the position of center for teams in the Minor Oaks Hockey Association (MOHA), International American Hockey League (IAHL), American Hockey League (AHL), National Hockey League (NHL), and the Quebec Senior Hockey League (QSHL). He played for the Detroit McLean Pontiacs from 1938 to 1939, Indianapolis Capitals from 1939 to 1940, 1940 to 1941, 1941 to 1942, 1942 to 1943, 1945 to 1946, and 1946 to 1947, Detroit Red Wings from 1940 to 1941, 1942 to 1943, 1945 to 1946, and 1946 to 1947, Buffalo Bisons from 1947 to 1948, 1948 to 1949, and 1951 to 1952, Cleveland Barons from 1949 to 1950, and 1950 to 1951, Montreal Royals from 1951 to 1952, and 1952 to 1953, Sarnia Sailors from 1953 to 1954, and the Kingston Goodyears from 1954 to 1956. He won the Stanley Cup in 1943, and the Les Cunningham Plaque from 1949 to 1950. (bio by: K)
