Mother Clare Krick OSU was the eighth child (of thirteen) born Laura Krick to Henry and Anna (Schwenne) Krick of Whitman County, WA. She entered the Ursuline Convent in Moscow, ID in 1936 and made her final vows on Jan 16, 1938 taking the name Sister Clare Marie Krick. The family called her "Sister Billy". She taught school at St. Ignatius MT, north of Missoula, and at the Ursuline Academy in Great Falls, MT. She died at such a young age of cancer. Here in Great Falls she is buried.
