Mary M. Kasper, a homemaker and fraternity cook, died Saturday at her residence in Clarkston from complications of a stroke. She was 84.

She was the firstborn on June 17, 1907, in Uniontown, the firstborn of 13 children of Henry Krick and Anna (Schwenne) Krick.

She attended the Notre Dame Academy in Colton, WA.

She was a homemaker after he marriage to Matt Kasper on Oct. 29, 1934, in Uniontown. He died in 1960.

She went to work as a cook in 1962 at the Theta Chi fraternity at the University of Idaho, until her retirement.

She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and gardening.

She was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and a member of the Altar Society and the Catholic Daughters.
