Emilie Maria (Boedeker) Green was born July 07, 1895 in the Gay Hill community, Washington Co., Texas to Theodor and Anna "Annie" (Machemehl) Roesler Boedeker. She was baptisied on June 27, 1897 at home in Gay Hill, Texas. She became a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Gay Hill, Texas.
About 1916, she married Willie "Bill" Green also from the Gay Hill community. They had five children: Milton, Marvin, Unknown, Rosilea and Bernice Green.
