Richard Bryant Bingham, 72, of Woodville passed away September 10, 2011.

Born June 1, 1939 in Spurger, Texas to George Eldridge Bingham and Alice Augusta Mock Bingham, he lived in Tyler County for many years. He was retired from AT&T with 46 years of service.

Survivors include his brother, James E. Bingham of Spurger; daughters, Phyllis McHalffey of Shreveport, LA, Peggy Myers of Woodville and Dorinda Dickson of Spring; four grandchildren, Kaitlin Nicole McHalffey, Kelsey Ariel McHalffey, Ashley Rene Myers Salter and Anna Dickson; two great grandchildren, Taylor Ann Davis and Aiden William Salter and a host of other family members.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger with Brother Jack Lewellen officiating.

Services were held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County.
