Raymond Earl Noyes was born January 23, 1919 at Blair, Nebraska to Clyde and Grace (Gilliland) Noyes. He attended school in Blair.
He farmed in the Herman area until moving to Blair in 1958. After working for the Mayflower Truck Company for a number of years, he went to work for Vickers in 1958, and retired in 1981.
He was a member of Blair Fraternal Order of the Eagles and Blair American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice; three children, Clyde Noyes, Herman; Frances Zeleny, Colon and Ellen Snyder, Herman; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and four step-great- grandchildren; two aunts and one uncle.
