Obituary- Saturday September 15, 1951 J. Weber Dies At 85
A Lorain resident 60 years, Joseph Weber , 85, died at 1a.m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lester (Agnes) Rumpler, 1051 W. 22nd-St.
Born in Amherst, he was a retired heater at the National Tube Co. He retired 1932 after 42 years service.
Weber was a member of St. Joseph Parish. His wife, Christina, died April 7, 1933.
Survivors, besides Mrs. Rumpler, include three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Regina) Kerr, and Mrs. Walter (Genevieve) Meyers, Lorain, and Mrs. Christina Weaver, Amherst; five sons, William, Bernard, Henry, and Joseph, Jr., all of Lorain, and Clarence, of Sheffield; 23 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The body is at Reichlin-Cooley funeral home and will be taken to Mrs. Rumpler's home Sunday at 8:30 a. m., Tuesday followed by mass at St. Joseph's church at 9 a. m., with Rev. Fr. Jerome N. Rohner, pastor, officiating Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
