WOMAN, 88, RESIDES ALL LIFE IN VILLAGE

AVON -- Mrs. Margaret Zimmerman, 88, died at 12:30 AM today following a long illness at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John M. Alten, Detroit Rd.
Born in Avon, Mrs. Zimmerman had spent her entire life here. She was a member of St. Mary's church, the Altar and Rosary sociables and of the LCBA.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Alten (find a grave 46654165)of Avon, Mrs. Elizabeth Welch (find a grave 91901833)of Lorain, and Mrs. Kathryn Strong of Chardon; a brother, Joseph Webber of Lorain and a sister Elizabeth Traxler of Lorain, 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She preceded in death by a son John Zimmerman find a grave 1289189 in this cemetery.
Funeral services will be held at 9 AM Saturday at St. Mary's church with Rev. George N. Stuber officiating. Burial will be made in St. Mary's Cemetery. The body will taken from the Reichlin Cooley funeral home in Lorain Friday to the Alten home on Detroit Rd,
